Level: Basic
Description:
We will open the session with poll questions for participants to share their knowledge and experience related to caregiver resources, those intangible resources caregivers need to provide care for their children and for their own health and well-being. Then facilitators will share a theory of change based on a food security and nutrition program in Uganda and lead hands-on practice in breakout rooms to identify where several key resources could fit. Then we will all discuss measuring and addressing these resources, building on participant experiences and participants will practice identifying measures for a selected resource in a new Caregiver Resources Measurement toolkit. The session will close with a discussion on when and how to measure caregiver resources in nutrition-sensitive programs, questions and answers, and a summary of key takeaways.
