Thank you for joining us for ANH2023!
The official report will be available in September.
The ANH Academy Week has grown into an annual meeting, the significance and complexity of which has exceeded what we thought was possible. As the agriculture-food systems, nutrition and health community grows, and the fields of enquiry and research agendas evolve to address food and climate crises, we too must adapt to ensure that it remains possible to serve this ever-growing community annually.
This year, as we embark on our most ambitious Academy Week to date, seeking to harness the benefits and opportunities of both online and in-person formats – in ways which are equitable and inclusive – we invite like-minded groups to consider supporting the event.
There is no formal requirement to sponsor the ANH Academy – and we are committed to retaining its fundamental non-commercial ethos and to avoiding conflicts of interest that jeopardise scientific integrity. However, below we present some channels by which well-resourced groups might consider contributing to the sustainability of the event and its driving mission:
Host an exhibition
We have limited physical spaces on site in Malawi for projects, institutions, groups to showcase their work, activities or outputs to conference participants
Sponsor bursaries for speakers from low-income settings
ANH Academy has a dedicated bursary scheme to support travel to the event for selected speakers, however, it is never enough to bring everyone. Could your organisation provide bursaries to enable diverse participation? Join Feed the Future’s Food Systems for Nutrition Innovation Lab, who have kindly offered to provide support!
Sponsor a social reception
ANH Academy Weeks place a strong emphasis on connecting participants, and this is demonstrated to be more effective when an enabling environment is created. Could you help in this respect? In the past groups have used this as an opportunity to share a few small words about an activity or output.
