Food as Medicine Global is hosting an Eco-Friendly online conference May 18-21, 2023. With more than 60 speakers, the conference provides a culturally inclusive curriculum and collaborative engagement experience featuring inspiring leaders working in the intersections of food, health, community, social justice, and planetary wellbeing. We are grateful for this impressive group of presenters from Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Malawi, Mexico, New Zealand, and around the U.S.
The conference offers attendees an opportunity to learn practical skills and gain a deeper understanding of what food as medicine means from a health equity perspective to develop more comprehensive approaches to nutritional therapy, health promotion, and illness prevention. In addition, these approaches will benefit the advancement of care models committed to food equity, cultural humility, and health justice.
