Bio

I am a Senior Research Analyst at IFPRI South Asia Regional Office as well as PhD Candidate in Agricultural Economics at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany. My research revolves around the complex challenges within agriculture, land use, and natural resources such as water for meeting food security and sustainable development goals. I have previously worked on applied behavioral economic experiments within cereal cropping systems in the Indo-Gangetic Basin as part of the Cereal Systems Initiative for South Asia project. Prior to joining IFPRI, I have worked as Research and Training Manager with Evidence for Policy Design (India) at Harvard University and IFMR LEAD with policymakers from the Ministry of Rural Development and the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, on complex policy problems in India. I have also worked with EPoD India on the capacity building of senior administrators to use research evidence for smart policy design.
