Proposal writing and scientific collaborations
Session Overview
This session is important for this audience as universities are currently experiencing difficulties in funding scientific researches. Academics and researchers, working in interdisciplinary teams can collaboratively access funds through responding appropriately to grant awarding bodies. It is also important for policy makers to be involved in the early stages of proposal design, and to provide support at later stages, especially when it comes to project implementation.
Learning Objectives/Outcomes
Participants will:
1. Examine key approaches in designing useful, innovates researches for both developed and developing countries, through discussing key UKRI principles and guidelines, particularly aiming at attaining SDGs.
2. Share experiences with successful joint research applications
Target Audience
Experienced and early career academics, researchers and policy makers with basic understanding and/or previous experience in participating in grant writing.
