Mentoring

Mentoring

Mentoring can be useful in a number of different situations, from settling into a new job, returning to work, or general career development and knowledge sharing. The process is driven by the mentee and what they want to get out of it.

ANH Academy Mentoring Scheme

In 2021, the ANH Academy launched its mentoring scheme, pairing 43 mentees with mentors working in agriculture, nutrition and health. Topics discussed included work/life balance, writing papers and getting published, network building, caring responsibilities and managing relationships with colleagues.

ANH Academy’s mentoring scheme is about members supporting and guiding each other. ANH Academy will match mentees and mentors based on subject expertise, location, career stage, mentor experiences and mentee goals. Mentoring is coordinated by Chau Chin Yo. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected]

The mentoring scheme is open to all ANH Academy members. If you are not yet a member, you can register here for free

The ANH Academy mentoring relationship lasts for one year, with meetings held quarterly, and is about members supporting and guiding each other. Mentees and mentors are matched based on subject expertise, location, career stage, mentor experiences and mentee goals.
