Full Title
Collaborate: A Team Player Game to Tackle Food System Challenges
Session overview
Collaborate is a live social game in which participants form teams and work together to tackle a challenge. Teams brainstorm to develop an idea, then pitch against each other in a series of battle phases. Points are awarded for developing effective solutions to the challenge, and for providing constructive critique to other teams.
For the 2018 ANH Academy Week, the challenge is as follows:
“We know that diet diversity is prerequisite to a healthy diet. However, the prices of fruits and vegetables and animal source foods are increasing faster than cereals, oils and sugars. Considering trade as an important aspect of food access, design a strategy to be implemented by your national government to address this issue holistically applying a food systems lens.”
