Bio

William Nathan Mwaisumo is a Teacher of Agriculture and a Development Practitioner working and residing in Sumbawanga, Tanzania. Born in Kyela District and went to Galanos Agricultural Secondary School-Tanga, he then Studied Agriculture at MARTI- UYOLE in Mbeya and later received his teaching and pedagogical skills from Monduli Teachers’ College,Arusha. He also Studied Adult Education and Community Development at IAE-Dar es Salaam and Educational Planning and Administration at SAUT-Jordan University College,Morogoro. He further obtained Certificates in Land Use Design-Permaculture (Malawi), Sustainable Human Development (Central European University-Hungary), Access and Benefit Sharing of Genetic Resources (Strathmore University-Kenya), Community Driven Development (BV-PTC-India) and Food Security at The CDI-Wageningen University in The Netherlands. For several years, he taught Agricultural Science at Kyela and Mtipe Secondary Schools. Currently, he is working with the Regional Education & Vocational Training Section in Rukwa, Tanzania.
