Since 2016, consistent anecdotal and formal feedback from the ANH Academy global community of researchers and educators have indicated a demand for interdisciplinary training in agriculture, nutrition and health. The Curriculum Enrichment Working Group (CEWG) was established in 2020, comprised of a group of subject matter experts, capacity strengthening practitioners, and pedagogical specialists. A needs assessment was conducted to better understand the teaching need of university educators and guide the curation of teaching materials to support interdisciplinary teaching.
To support lecturers and students, the following modules were developed:
- Agriculture, Nutrition and Health Linkages, an Introduction
- Gender, Equity and Empowerment
- One Health
- Climate Change, Environment, and Sustainability
