The Food Prices for Nutrition (FPN) project at Tufts University is seeking one or more consultants for a scoping study on the availability, use and need for data analysis to guide action on food markets in Africa. The consultant(s) would work closely with FPN staff and graduate students, under the direction of Prof. William Masters.
Deliverables include a 10-20 page report with detailed annex on the extent of food price and availability data being collected by public sector and proprietary price monitoring, and the potential interests of private-sector, international organizations, government agencies and philanthropic initiatives in collaborations to guide private enterprises towards actions that improve public health, sustainability and equity in Africa.
