Level: Basic
Description:
This learning lab will engage participants in exploring new open-access tools for decision-making that are available on the Food Systems Dashboard (FSD). First, participants will be guided through the FSD's Country Profiles to learn how these provide a curated overview of countries' food systems. Then participants will learn how to navigate the FSD's Diagnose feature, which includes 39 diagnostic indicators with thresholds that indicate if an indicator presents a likely challenge area (red), potential challenge area (yellow), or unlikely challenge area (green). Participants will explore potential uses for these diagnostics as well as the food systems policies and actions included on the FSD and how they are linked to these diagnostic indicators. Finally, participants will explore the newly developed country dashboards to understand subnational data and its use in decision-making.
