Level: Introductory

Description: 

The session will provide an overview of the Global Diet Quality Score (GDQS) metric and an interactive demonstration of the GDQS app for collection of data used to tabulate the metric. First, we will provide a brief overview of the GDQS metric and a brief introduction of the GDQS app and potential links to sustainability of the diet. Then we will divide participants into 4-5 breakout rooms, each facilitated by Intake staff (including French and Spanish speaking room). Intake staff will project the app on the screen and conduct an interview with a volunteer participant. This will enable all participants to view each screen live. After the interactive interview, we will facilitate a discussion with the group to answer questions and ascertain interest in how this application could benefit their work. Finally, all participants will return to the main group for the session wrap-up.
